What kind of programs does Little Silver Lacrosse offer?
Boys K-2 Clinic: Full Gear (stick, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, mouth guard all required)
Girls K-2 Clinic: (stick, goggles, mouth guard all required)
Boys/Girls 3rd-8th: Competitive program that includes weekly practice, games vs other programs and possible additional local tournaments.
When does registration open and close?
Registration will open on January 1, 2023.
Registration will close on January 31, 2023 for grades 3rd-8th-- NO EXCEPTIONS! The deadline is enforced to allow sufficient time for uniform order fulfillment by our third party vendor.
Registration will close on January 31, 2023 for the K-2 Clinic. A late fee of $100 will be enforced for anyone who registers for K-2 after January 31, 2023.
How long is the 2023 season?
We will hold optional pre-season clinics at Goodsports USA in Wall, NJ on Saturday mornings beginning February 11th and ending March 18th. The optional pre-season clinic schedule will alternate days and times between age groups and we will announce the schedule after registration closes.
We expect to begin regular season practices for all programs in early March, dependent on weather and field availability. The regular season ends in early June.

Do players need prior lacrosse experience to join Little Silver Lacrosse?
No prior experience with lacrosse is necessary.
Do you have to try out?
No, there are no try outs.
If there are enough players for 2 teams in the 3rd-8th grade program, coaches will evaluate players and split them into teams by skill/ability.
Do I need my own equipment?
Yes, all players are required to wear protective gear. The boys require a stick, gloves, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads and a mouth guard. The girls will need to be equipped with a stick, goggles and a mouth guard.

Where can I purchase Equipment?

New equipment can be purchased from any sports retailer. Some local options are Lacrosse Unlimited in Red Bank, Athlete's Alley in Shrewsbury, Dick's Sporting Goods in Eatontown, or Monkey Sports in Woodbridge.

What are the costs and fees associated with playing for Little Silver Lacrosse?
PLAYER FEE
Boys/Girls K-2 Clinic (includes pinny): $85
Boys/Girls 3-8 (includes new uniform): $215
Families who register multiple children will automatically receive a $15 discount per additional child when entering payment information on the registration page.
POTENTIAL ADDITIONAL COSTS
Boys Equipment: The boys require a stick, gloves, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads and a mouth guard.
Girls Equipment: The girls will need to be equipped with a stick, goggles and a mouth guard.
USA Lacrosse Membership: Due to new requirements for playing in the Coastal Lacrosse League for the 2023 season, boys and girls in the 3rd through 8th grades must register with USA Lacrosse and have a USA Lacrosse Member ID when registering. The fee for USA Lacrosse membership is $30 and is not included in the registration fee for the Little Silver Lacrosse program. This is not required for the K-2 Clinic. Please register with USA Lacrosse at the following link before enrolling in the Little Silver Lacrosse Spring 2023 program. If your child is already registered with USA Lacrosse and has a Member ID, you do not need to register again.
